Coláiste Oiriall 1st Year Boys’ Basketball team has had an impressive start to their season with wins over Beech Hill College and St. Clare’s, Ballyjamesduff.

They travel to Largy College, Clones tomorrow for their third pool game. Jeaic Cearbhalláin scored eight baskets with Donncha and Reuben also performing well. Good defensive play from Oisin, Morgan and James. Donncha and Jeaic scored 13 baskets between them in the 1st Year match against St. Clare’s, Ballyjamesduff while Éanna, TJ, Reuben, Cillian, Oisin and James all worked hard in defence. The final score was St. Clare’s – 33 ponts; Coláiste Oiriall – 35 points. The team coach is an Múinteoir Jessica Ní Dhruacháin.
