Although deflated by a defeat to St. Pius, Magherafelt earlier in the week, Coláiste Oiriall under 16 Girls’ bounced back last Thursday to defeat a strong team from Loreto College, Millford, Co Donegal in a bleak Garvaghy by the narrowest of margins. Indeed the scoreboard looked bleak at halftime with Loreto leading by seven pints, 2-4 to 4-5 but the second half saw a Lazarus-like reviaval for the Oiriall girls.
