Tara and Cillian performed the song at the very first Tionól (Assembly) on the first day in the new Coláiste Oiriall in Cnoc an Chonnaidh. They will also perform on the following day at the school’s Ceolchoirm Fhéile Padraig (St. Patrick’s Day Concert). We are quietly confident that the duo will be successful on Sunday night.

Beidh Tara Ní Ghiolla Sheanáin agus Cillian Mac Cába ag glacadh páirt sa bhabhta ceathrú ceannais den chomórtas i nDomhnach Broc.  Beidh Tara ag canadh Cailín Deas Cruite na mBó agus Cillian a tionlacan ar an ghiotar. Tá súil againn go rachaidh siad ar aghaidh go dtí an chéad bhabhta eile den chomórtas

It’s ‘X Factor’ meets traditional music as TG4 presents its latest format ‘Scór Encore’which started last Sunday night. The format sees the top performers from the GAA’s annual Scór Na nÓg competition, battle it out to be crowned TG4’s most talented traditional performer.  Tara and Cillian are included in this top performers’ list. Scór Na nÓg is a traditional music contest held by the GAA every year in which contestants perform traditional music, song, dance or performance, while representing their GAA club.

‘Scór Encore’, an RTÉ and Adare Media production for TG4, has three judges; Roy Galvin, a former winner of the Senior Scór competition and a multi-instrumentalist; Méav Ní Mhaolchatha, a multi-million selling Irish singer and recording artist; and Aindrias De Staic, a multi-award winning actor, writer, comedian and musician.  Guíonn muid gach rath ar Tara agus ar Chillian agus tá súil againn go rachaidh siad píosa fada sa chomórtas – tá gach duine i gColáiste Oiriall ag tacú leo!
