Congratulations to Frances Ní Chonghaile Nic Aoidh who reached the final of the Poetry Aloud Competition in the National Library in Dublin. Frances was one of three students who had won through the local round in the Four Seasons Hotel in November and who also won through the semi-final earlier in the day.

The students were coached by Múinteoir Gráinne. Frances spoke “Alligator Girls” by W.S. Graham, “Mid Term Break” by Seamus Heaney and “The Garden of Love” by William Blake.
