The results of the Coláiste Oiriall “Peann agus Pár” Literary Competition have just been announced. The adjudicators wish to compliment all the entrants and particularly those who won or indeed were placed in the various categories. 125 entries were received in total.

They were very pleased with syntax, appropriate register, imagination and level of language used. Many congratulations to all winners, who each will receive a Parker pen. An overall “Scríbhneoir na Bliana” (Writer of the Year) will be announced during the Prize Giving Ceremony in the Hillgrove Hotel on 25th May.
