An Irish subject inspection was undertaken by cigire Oilibhear de Búrca on behalf of the Department of Education in April 2010.  The report was published in December 2010 and now appears on the Department’s website www.education.ie.

The report is very positive, stating that the planning work presented was of high quality, that the quality of teaching and learning was very high in all of the five lessons observed, that good use as made of ICT resources and that good attention was paid to assessment of all the language skills.

 An tUas. de Burca also noted that the school had entered all the third year group for the optional oral examination in the Junior Certificate examination.
