Junior Irish Debating team in All-Ireland Final

Glacfaidh foireann diospoireachta shoisearach Choláiste Oiriall pairt i gCraobh na hEireann de Chomórtas UI Chadhain, comórtas Gael-Linn a bheas ar siúl Dé Céadaoin, 24 Eanáir. Brendan is Poetry Aloud All-Ireland Champion

Coláiste Oiriall student, Brendan Mac Domhnaill, is the All-Ireland champion in Poetry Aloud competition. As category winner Brendan received €300 and book tokens to the value of €300 for the Coláiste Oiriall school library. He was then chosen from the three category winners and received a further €200, the Seamus Heaney perpetual trophy and a signed book of poetry. . . .

Winners of Comhairle na nÓg’s Short Film Competition

Coláiste Oiriall were thrilled to be awarded first prize in Monaghan Comhairle na nÓg’s short film competition for Transition Year students last week. The theme for this year’s competition was Promoting Positive Body Image, a topic very relevant in young people’s lives today. . . .
